Practice to Succeed....
Challenging your ability every time you practice is dangerous in developing your skills and raising your competition level. Confidence is a huge piece to having success at a competition. Building confidence is best done on practice bulls that have less action. This will allow you to work on foundational aspects of riding. Practicing on stock that strokes your ego and allows you to dominate is a great approach to practice sessions. Challenge yourself sometimes but don't always pick buckers to practice on.
